The official communication from the DWA states:

"This worksheet deals with the determination of ground stresses from road traffic loads for the static calculation of pipes embedded in the ground. The stresses (in kN/m2) serve as actions (loads) for the pipes that are installed using the construction methods described in the DWA standard publications (trench installation, tunnelling, rehabilitation). They can be applied analogously for manholes. In future, this worksheet will be integrated into worksheet DWA-A 127-1 "Static calculation of drainage systems - Part 1: Fundamentals" and will supplement this as a basic document for the DWA-A/M 127 series of worksheets and information sheets."
